Web App Signalis - Verify

Brief

In mid-summer 2020, the company Grupo Signalis invited me to help create their application fraud control administration website. They had a functional prototype that contributed to the stage initial of the project.

For this work we got together to review the time they had before development and We were defining what was needed to design, such as user research and architecture of information. We made a 2.5 month plan since there was information from end users and business.

Structure

In the design plan I projected the stages, the starting point where the milestones are clarified, workshops, demonstrations and deliverables. Something to highlight is that the client had a vision of clear product and are experts in the field, which made the work flow even more. We work first in the user flow to know in detail the pages and interactions that are They needed to design.

Design

In the design stage it was necessary to choose typography and color palette according to trends and Web Accessibility.

Once the content was ready, we designed the main views and some references to the responsive version.

Usability tests

At times we had some doubts about the interactions between screens and messaging. This is why We did some usability tests to make sure that what was shown to the user could understand it and navigate easily.

We created the use cases in a high-fidelity navigable prototype in Figma and then assembled it on the Maze platform. The tests were remote so we made the URL available to the end users via email.

Learning

It is very important to do a good discovery, whether of users, business or product. Information obtained in the early stages of the project is essential to design based on arguments powerful that will guide the project in a good direction.

In case of any doubt about interactions, design perception, messaging, it is necessary to validate with the end user, for what? To create products that are relevant to the target audience, The relevance of a product in people's lives is a key factor that could determine the success or failure.
